Bella Vista Public School
CHALLENGE
We were invited to create a suite of graphics for Bella Vista Public School in Sydney’s north-west.
SOLUTION
Our highly visual and interactive graphic approach was originally inspired by Bella Vista Public School’s close connection to local sports facilities.
The concept was further developed from its initial pitch to include activities and hobbies that not only engage the body but also the mind. This is an important element of our design as it ensures inclusivity by representing a wide variety of activities. The artwork speaks to the importance of these activities in children’s lives and is a reminder that in a digital age, there are other ways to engage the body and mind.
The designs are located throughout the school and consist of colourful graphic columns and decals on glazing, all of which are a continuation of the main feature piece – a vinyl covered 35-metre long wall with a series of bespoke illustrations.
This striking feature wall is both fresh and modern, delivering a wow factor for a wide audience at the main entrance to the school.
All these surfaces also serve as a platform for a variety of interactive games and puzzles to keep the students minds active. From word puzzles and maths games to themed trivia, there is something for every age group within the school.
